Boat trip
In good sea conditions, the journey takes about an hour. We pass many beaches and caves and land in a bay, e.g. Agio Farango, Vathi or Kali limenes. In this bay you can swim, snorkel and lay on the beach in the sun. From time to time we see a turtle on our way and dolphins if we’re lucky.
On the way
On our way we explore the coast for example: Agio Farango A trip to the beautiful bay of Agios Farango’s Sanctuary is always connected with a visit to the 14th century church of Agios Antonios, where a part of the sanctuary is formed by a cave. Not far from this church is the abbot’s cave, which has only a very small entrance and is lit by a hole in the ceiling. There are also smaller caves around, where until the end of the 19th century hermits lived (each in his own cave). It is said that they had almost no contact with each other. Only once a year did they come together in the great cave of the abbot and thus learn who has died since the last meeting.
